Filmmakers London Video Productions have some serious industry experience and a passion for storytelling. They provide clients with slick, impactful videos – whether corporate films, music videos, events, documentaries or dramas. They came to Codastar for a website that could effectively showcase their filmmaking and be a magnet for new clients.
We created a fully responsive website that is strong on visuals and content. The homepage has LVP’s showreel as a background, and the video itself is brought up by clicking on a prominent call-to-action.
We included a gallery of LVP’s services on the home page so that visitors on any device can instantly get a full overview of the company – they just scroll down. Each film type is illustrated, and hovering over these brings up a brief summary and a link to the full service page. A navigation bar at the top of the home page offers an alternative means of getting around the site.
A carousel banner shows the logos of notable clients, further helping to convince visitors.
More detailed information is available on other pages. An ‘About’ section shows off the firm’s team, equipment and experience. Full pricing information is provided here too.
An FAQ page features drop down answers to common project questions and a testimonials page shows recent client feedback – all helping to reassure visitors about the firm. As well as embedding a Twitter feed across the site we included a news page and a page for LVP’s latest blog posts. These elements ensure that LVP look dynamic and that their SEO ranking stays healthy.
Finally the ‘Contact’ page offers every option for visitors, providing a contact form as well as phone and email details. The company’s location on Google Maps is embedded on the page to ensure LVP appear prominently when people search for local filmmakers.
Project complete, the overall effect has been to boost business by optimising the firm’s content for search visibility and providing a user friendly site that efficiently illustrates LVP’s work.
