Abacus specialise in providing financial advice and insurance for members of HM Forces, and approached Codastar to help them increase their social presence with the development and design of their Facebook page. With our best foot forward and a salute for good measure, we were quick on the case!
Firstly, we tackled the profile picture and banner, leaving the imagery to largely speak for itself with key text letting fans of the page know their association and their unique take on their industry. To accompany this, Codastar also put together three bespoke tabs, to really showcase everything that Abacus have to offer.
“Your Story – Competition”
Abacus have partnered with Armadillo equipment to provide prizes for the best stories submitted by their fans. The page is scattered with snapshots for inspiration, as well as full terms and conditions. The key feature of the tab is the on-page contact form, (ensuring minimal potential drop outs that occur by directing individuals off site) allowing a quick and easy application for the maximum number of entrants.
Forces Car and Motorcycle Insurance”
Tab number two was centered around one of Abacus’ main services; insurance. The tab has two separate views, one for pre-like, with the offer of discounts once you have clicked, one with the special discount code – as promised! Both versions are clear and concise, keeping wording to a minimal and continuing the colour theming from the corporate colours!
“Play the Game”
The final tab features their piéce de resistance! Abacus had developed a fun game for their fans – the ability to “pimp their tank” on Facebook! The tab is graphics orientated, with clear instructions and click-throughs throughout.
Along with contact details to boot, Codastar have given the ‘boot’ to the old and marched in the new, with a Facebook page ready for combat!
