This week Facebook launched a new networking platform called Facebook Studio that has been created especially for Facebook’s advertisers.
Facebook Studio aims to bring together both current and prospective advertisers in order to share their successes, give each other feedback and provide hints and tips about how to get the most out of implementing advertising on the social network.
This is the Facebook team’s next big step into building a relationship with the people it depends on the most – those that advertise on the network – so it’ll be interesting to see how the community grows and what Facebook decides to do next.
The site includes:
An Awards section, which allows users to submit their work to be considered for the Facebook Awards.
A Spotlight section, which focuses on the very best examples, which can be sorted by regions, objectives and categories.
A Gallery section, which features all of the different examples of advertising work across the network.
A What’s New section, which gives advertisers a run-down of what’s happening on Facebook Studio and how to get started.
And finally the Learning Lab, which gives users valuable information and tutorials about advertising on Facebook.
It’s important to remember that this isn’t just for those who have a lot of experience, the community can be joined by any individuals or businesses interested in advertising, PR and media and is such a good initiative because it encourages sharing and collaboration from all different kinds of people from different backgrounds.
