Content management
A Content Management System (CMS) is a
simple web interface (page) that is username
/ password protected. You log into it, and
from there, without any HTML, web design
knowledge, you can fully manage the content
of your website by adding / editing / deleting
and instantly publishing text, pictures
and files to your website efficiently and
effectively.
In simple terms, it is your website admin
section. If you've ever used a social networking
website such as Facebook, YouTube, or MySpace,
then in a way, you have used a CMS. When
you log into these, you can manage your
page and the changes you do in your admin
are published and reflected onto your web
page.
We have various solutions for content management
services, from the simplest to the most
complex, usually for e-commerce applications
with the need of managing stocks in real
time etc.
The good thing of using a website with
a content management system built into it
is that you are able to keep your site up
to date, with the right info, products,
prices and help and maximize the chances
of your visitors returning to visit it often.
The other good thing is that you don't
depend on your website
designer's busy schedule to make your
web changes, and you don't need to pay for
those changes either!
Not all website benefit from a CMS. But
those needing very regular updating and
management do and should consider that option.
We have great experience in Content management
systems, both for simple text / pictures
systems and complex job notice boards, estate
agents, buy & sell, social networking
websites, e-commerce systems and others.
